How long does Yahoo take to list my site in it’s search results?
I am trying to get my site to show up in the Yahoo search results.
I have added my website via Yahoo Site Explorer, it’s been authenticated and I have a nice XML site map too that it appear to be working on. I was wondering how long before Yahoo will show the site in it’s index? I was hoping that the URL would be listed if I typed it into the search field within a couple of days. I realize keywords will take longer ( I am somewhat of an SEO guru so don’t worry about explaining SEO tricks such as title tags and linking strategies) Google seems to add a site, at least the URL into it’s listing within days of giving it a nice XML site map.
You have to get more people visiting it, and make it popular. The more people click the link, the higher up the listings it will go.
Does the position of keywords in the URL affect ranking?
