What about breadcrumb breaks like “/”?

No.
As long as you follow the basic rules.
1 H1 tag PERIOD
1 H2 tag per page
1 H3 tag per section, etc.

Having links doesn’t really effect it… In fact, it can help. The spiders look for H1 first, and if it happens to be a link, it should follow the link.
